Hi, you used to list the Mel Gibson film Payback and the longer cut called Payback Straight Up as separate entries, but they now seem to be under a single entry as alternative titles.
As they are different films can they be separated again please?

We do not support multiple cuts or versions of movies at this time. There is plans for this sometime in the future but until then we only support the original version of a film.

Ok thanks Travis - that would be really useful functionality. I've got a few films where I have different cuts and the software I use (apple tv with atvflash media player) pulls the metadata from you and gets confused!!

Yes, it will be cool. There's a lot to consider when you think about it, 3D versions, director's cuts, anniversary releases etc… it will eventually be properly supported.

Good point - I don't envy you having to build it!

I was just inquiring about having Payback: Straight Up created as a separate title and was told that was not allowed, but now I see that there are separate titles for Justice League and Zack Snyder's Justice League which is essentially the same differences as Payback and Payback: Straight Up so I still ask, if one is allowed to have separate titles then why isn't the other? Currently, Payback: Straight Up is only listed as an "alternative title" which it is not because it was released at a later date and has at least one different cast member, etc which alternative titles does not support. Why not allow it to be listed as a separate title until new support is added that allow for such differences?

Same here, any news about the integration of various movie versions or re-activating as its own version Straight Up?
And seriously, comparing a 3d version of a movie with the original vision for Payback and its vast differences of the Theatrical cut makes me think that Travis hasn't seen the movie by 2013. But Justice League in the mean time.
