adding the IMDB ID for a movie would be simplified if the used form would allow using the following input values for (tt1233187) a) the actual URL at the IMDB website (e.g. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1233187/) and b) just the integer part of the IMDB ID (e.g. 1233187)

the (rather broad) regexp I use for getting the IMDB ID of an IMDB URL is:
'.?.?imdb..?\/?tt(\d+).*?'
