Settled comfortably in Sweden with his wife and two children, Siavash finds himself at middle age consumed with guilt for having abandoned his parents when he left Iran many years before. A hasty attempt to return finds Siavash stranded in the free port of Qeshm, a sort of island no-man's-land and departure point for smugglers, where the locals are as puzzled by this backwards-fleeing refugee as he is by their unfamiliar customs.

The waters are deep, and the thicket of the jungle is shadowy in the dreamy and mysterious landscape of the Amazon. The fisher boy Juan decides to share with his father the terrifying dream that haunts him. Maybe then he can save his father’s soul.

Without undue pathos and artificial happy ending, but with an optimistic message. The film is based on real events. January 28, 2003, a group of high school students went to climb Rysy. The director Mohamed Nabil did everything to tell the story of Moroccan women’s prison. After many difficulties and two years of waiting for a filming permit, he and his team were finally able to enter this secret world.

An experimental short film

A guy decides to take a break from everyone and leaves for a country house together with his beloved dog. The dog disappears. As he keeps on hopelessly searching for it, he comes across his own fear of loneliness.

In 2018, Taiwan was kept busy by noises of the election, among which the process of restarting the coal-fired power plant in Shen’ao was the most controversial and eye-catching. I followed the diving and canoeing instructor, recorded the rose coral reef and searched for a rare species of mollusk, the Epimenia babai Salvini–Plawen, in the waters of the local conservation area, and explored the ecological truth of Silence at the bottom of Deep Shen’ao together.
