Believe it or not, I've seen hardly any Jeanette MacDonald movies - and the only one I can specifically remember, at this late date, that I have seen is 1936's San Francisco.

Jeanette really does some nice work (very well in San Francisco!)
Sometimes you might stumble across some of her song clips, as with Nelson in Maytime (1937) "Carry Me Back To Old Virginny" (where she does/ they do a very sensitive and excellent rendition of this classic standard.
