Discuss Richard Dawson

Dawson only seemed to be in UK radio in the 50's ( like with the great Benny Hill). Maybe Dawson did even a couple of UK TV commercials in that decade?

Oh. He was on BBCTV in the 50's before coming to the USA in the 60's.

Yes, Leslie Dawson, commonly known as Les Dawson, had a prominent presence in the UK entertainment industry during the 1950s. Although he is best known for his work in comedy, particularly on television, Les Dawson also had appearances on UK radio during that era.

Les Dawson was a regular guest on various radio shows in the 1950s, including "Variety Bandbox" and "Educating Archie." These shows provided him with a platform to showcase his comedic talents and gain recognition.

Different Dawson.
