PLEASE! If someone would unlock Name and Biography fields for Guinn Williams, corrections would be simple to accomplish!

Contrary to what some may think, at the present time IMDb is the definitive source for movies. No source is 100% correct, but IMDb is very close. Like TMDB, IMDb does accept changes / corrections (based on approval).

Currently, there is an effort by some moderators at TMDB to remove common NICKNAMES from Cast Member Names in their BIOs. Since IMDb is the definitive source, these NICKNAMES exist in the cast credits because they are most often seen in movie credits in one form or another. When there are variations, you find (as XYZ) after the character name, e.g. Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams -> Tom (as Big Boy Williams) for the movie "Big Boy Rides Again (1935)".

PLEASE STOP LOCKING CAST MEMBER NAMES AND / OR RESTORE THE NICKNAMES YOU HAVE REMOVED! As one who has a personal database of nearly 4000 movies, I am tired of having to correct metadata "errors" created by removal of these nicknames at TMDB, e.g. Guinn Williams is not the same Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams!

As long as Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams is an alternative name, I don't see a problem.
