Miss Day was a true delight, who emanated innate charm, genuineness, and appeal, that you couldn't help but feel drawn to. At any age, she epitomized "The Girl Next Door" - and was tremendously talented, to boot.
She certainly delivers a good performance in the company of Steve Cochran, Ginger Rogers and Reagan and a townful of lively Mississippians(?) in "Storm Warning" and again on camera with Rex Harrison, Myrna Loy and John Gavin in "Midnight Lace" along with her many lively musicals and romantic comedies.
If Miss Day had limited her career to singing along with Gordon MacRae plus her solo vocal features, then she would certainly be remembered for her professional recordings, but she really outdoes herself elsewhere, in film, on television, and on radio.

Sad to say goodbye to one of the biggest stars of her era, but she lived a long life and brought joy to millions. R.I.P.

Yes, very sad to hear about Doris.
As Wham! always says, "She makes the sun shine bright[ly]," or something like that.
And because Hollywood tragedies ususally come in threes, the loss of Doris, Peggy Lipton and Tim Conway comes as a triple tragedy in as many days.

Miss Day's movies I especially enjoy are the ones that co-starred Rock Hudson or James Garner. Those are really entertaining.

I don't remember (though no doubt have seen, decades ago) The Glass Bottom Boat, though definitely (vaguely) recall Pillow Talk being a fun movie.

I don't remember ever seeing the "The Glass Bottom Boat (a.k.a. The Spy in Lace Panties, 1966)".
Sometimes, hearing Doris sing in the movie, might jog the memory: Doris Day Sings "The Glass Bottom Boat".
"Pillow Talk (1959)" is a movie that I've seen several times (a long time ago): Doris Days Sings "Pillow Talk (Open)".
