This guy is great in everything he’s in. He first caught my eye in Boardwalk Empire, but in reading his biography, he’s been in show biz since the early 90’s! He embodies every role he does and I wish he was in more things as a main player, but he unfortunately has been typecast as a cop/detective :-( I have seen him play other characters and the casting people/directors need to see what a gem of an actor this guy is, and I hope someone does. He is an awesome ‘real’ character, like a person you would see in real life and therefore can help you forget you are watching fiction. Not like when you are watching a ‘celebrity’ - the type of beautiful, highly charismatic people that only live in Hollyweird. For example, he should have been the NJ mayor in American Hustle instead of Jeremy Renner. It would have been TOTALLY realistic....he even has that accent going for him, and a timeless look.
