Solo. MOS deserves a sequel. The first one wasn't so bad.

I feel he has so few lines in all 3 films. In JL, they all have more lines than he does.

Solo. He deserves at least one more Superman being the main character before it's over.

Neither? What if WB decides that his next gig as Superman is to team up with the Green Lantern? Green Lantern v Superman?

My preference is a solo movie. However, JL2 seems way more of a realistic choice. Chances of a JL2 being made seem much higher than an MOS2.

MOS 2 and JL2 won't happen -- at least w/in 5 years. The chips are in for WW2, Aqua, and Batman. I can see him dropping in on one of those films.

WB can't handle more than one hero in a film. Just stick with solo films and give us MOS2.

How exactly is Suicide Squad a disaster? On a production budget of $175 million, it still made more than $745+ million plus despite all the bad reviews and not having the benefit of tapping into the Chinese market. The $745 + million it made doesn’t even include the ancillary earnings it would have from video, TV and streamlining rights, not to mention merchandising and the sales of the soundtrack.

Same with BvS, on a budget of $250million it made more than $873 + million despite bad reviews. Again this doesn’t include ancillary, streaming, TV, merchandising earnings. Had this been a real disaster JL would not have been greenlit and there would have been no discussion of any future MOS2 or Batman solo movies.

Snyder’s MOS was hardly a success. It underperformed and divided audiences, so I wouldn’t say WB is doing well with solo movies since Nolan stopped making the Batman trilogy. Only Wonder Woman so far has done well as a solo hero movie. It would be interesting to see how Aquaman, Shazam or the Flash will do in the future.

MOS had to grow on me. BvS extended was better but still a mess. WW was great for the first 3/4 of the film. I really enjoyed JL and is the only DCU film I can sit through multiple times and had fun throughout. I just really really hated the CGI. Suicide Squad I thought was fun as well. Can't wait for the Harley movie.

Solo to give Cavill's fan a chance to see him shine one more time as Superman in his film and to give the Superman fans a chance to see Superman shine one more time in a Superman film.

With that said, Superman doesn't fit in the current JL anyway. They made him too powerful with the mother box. Look at how they had to keep him away (he had to recover from the resurrection) and distracted (he had to save civilians and then help Cyborg separate the boxes) so that the other heroes could fight Steppenwolf.

The fight was over, the minute Superman really got involved in it. He could have ended it the minute he flew in by turning Steppenwolf into a popsicle. Instead, he used his heat vision and Steppenwolf seems used to heat. His birthplace seems to be very hot.

So give Superman his solo film and give him an enemy as strong as him. Stop distracting him, killing him, put him in a coma, send him to another planet/dimension so you can let him fly in last minute to save the other heroes.
