Discuss Henry Cavill

I thought there was a thread for this. Anyway, Diane Lane gave a short but brutal answer about JL.

Triksy aka 18% said : Dude, if Cavill isn't the humble gay you want him to be, why are you here? You're the one who should shut up and stop twisting people's words. Where is that IF from? Cavill clearly said: As soon as I get into a relationship, a slew of hate, directed at me as well as the girl....

A slew of hate comes his way IF he gets on the internet looking for it.

Triksy aka 18% said: So his loved one is being hurt because of the slew of hate directed at her. IG pages are made to solely hate on the girl because she's dating Cavill. Don't you think he knows that? Cork isn't the first victim either.

There are hate pages that are racist, sexist, and etc. too, but I surely don't go looking for them. I'm not a glutton for punishment.

Triksy's aka 18% Cavill also said: As long as it doesn’t hurt anyone in my life, it is a good thing. As soon as it starts to affect people in my life, that’s when I draw back.

As long as is a synomyn for If, so thanks for pointing out that HC said IF.

If what is said on the internet bothers HC and Family, there is a freedom to not use it or go to a different site.

Triksy aka 18% said: How cute. You think that haters are only on certain sites. This is a discussion board and yet you're here working overtime to turn it into a hate site.

Your reading comprehension sucks. It really does, or you are trying to twist words for the fun of it. Nowhere did I said haters on certain sites.

Triksy aka 18% said: So pray tell us, how do you know that Cavill's parents spent all these holidays at home? How do you know they spent all these holidays at home and Cavill wasn't there? How many times did Cavill visit his parents in the last 5 years? Post links to evidence or quit trying to pass assumptions as fact.

Dude, the internet is real and people posts. You can't tell me that if HC frequent Jersey more than he does for PR events, that we would at least see it once or twice. He is not the one who can go years without being spotted. Surely, the airport employees will spot him much like they did when he went to another little island.

@Poetist said: The first story was that his dad was upset, when he received a letter from the school congratulating him over his son's obtaining an acting job but leaving school. Now, I read that they seem to discount an education. Well, that's what I interpreted from the following line.

I don't remember reading that first story. Can you post a link?

Triksy aka 18%: You must say something negative one way or another, right? When you want to hide something, you don't deliberately talk about it.

Dude, he didn't finish. Everyone knows that. What's the point in hiding it? Does it ruin your perfect image of HC?

There's no doubt in what year Cavill left school, because the Rake article clearly states that he left in his penultimate year when he got the role in Monte Cristo. And his parents didn't think it was necessary to go back to school, let alone go to drama school. They clearly discouraged him from finishing school and continue studying! How does any of this hide that Cavill didn't complete school?

All I saw in the PREVIEW INTERVIEW were these statements, mentioning his final two years.

_Henry went to Stowe, a prestigious and impossibly beautiful public school in Buckinghamshire, southern England. Henry’s time there was troubled. He was bullied and teased, acquiring retrospectively illogical nicknames such as ‘Fat Cavill’. It got worse when (in a particularly naïve quirk of some private schools) his final two years of schooling became co-educational.

“Introducing girls in the last two years is probably the worst thing you can do,” he says.

Your guys' post are too long. Bullet points people. I just can't.

I agree that he may visit Jersey w/o being spotted, its possible. And I don't think he finished school, many celebs don't.

Like said, look at this board. If he comes here, he will read that his relationships are fake, he's bearding, he doesn't visit his parents, he's a narcissist and so forth.

The ones about bearding and show-mance are directed at his girlfriend too and those keep being repeated. Things are stated as fact. Posters even wish the -show-mance is over soon. But what if you're wrong?

Please, don't play dumb. That doesn't mean that the 2 sentences mean the same.

"If you see a fire, call 911."
"As long as you see a fire, call 911."

Only the first sentence is right.

By using as long as you establish a condition under which an activity should be carried on for a certain time. The condition is temporarily. When the condition cease, the activity will cease too.

By using if you establish a condition which must be met before the activity can begin. The condition is not temporarily.

The piece where you say go to different site, as if haters are only on certain sites. They are everywhere, except hardcore fansites. They try to post on those too, but their dirt get deleted almost immediately.

@Poetist said:

You can't tell me that if HC frequent Jersey more than he does for PR events, that we would at least see it once or twice.

So you accused Cavill of not visiting his parents because Jersey folks don't post about Cavill being in Jersey.

I don't really pay much attention to locations, but are there pictures of Cavill flying in or out of the Jersey airport when he was there for PR events? Is there talk in forums about Cavill flying in or out of the Jersey airport when he was there for PR events? Are there pictures of Cavill out and about in Jersey before and or after PR events? Is there talk in forums about Cavill's whereabouts in Jersey before and or after PR events?

And Jersey folks are going to write on the internet that Cavill's parents are on vacation for the holydays or that Cavill flew them over to London? Maybe Jersey folks respects the privacy of the Cavills because they know them.

So unless you're a stalker, you don't know what these people are doing. So you can't say Cavill doesn't visit his parents.

So you made a negative comment without even reading the whole interview? If true, then I'd say that you just proved my point about deliberately creating and spreading negativity. But I doubt that's true. I think you're lying.

You said that this whole drama school bit is to cover up the fact that he didn't complete school after you thanked another poster for highlighting the link to the interview. It's odd that you didn't read the penultimate year bit, because you quoted something near that bit.

Would you talk to a stranger in a Burger King the way you talk to us here when he disagrees with you that double cheese burger is good?

Aren't you comparing apple with oranges here? I'm not disagreeing with you on (e.g.) whether or not Cavill and Cork are a -show-mance. You can think that, if you want.

If I have an issue, it would be with how you keep misreading things, contradict yourself and make wrong statements when all you had to do is a little Googling. And you have the audacity to say that Cavill contradicts himself while you also contradict yourself. And to make matters worse, you accused Cavill of contradicting himself while you're the one who misread something simple that he said.

But Cavill isn't your only victim. You showed how reckless you can be in our little HiddelSwift banter too. And you brush it off as a mean comment here and there. Things accumulate, because you're not the only one saying these things on the internet.

So if someone keeps misreading things, contradict themselves and make wrong statements, you can bet the farm that I'll address it. And I won't be nice.

@watsonjudy835 said:

...urge you to go through my previous posts. What mean things have I said about Henry except that I think his rs with Lucy is fake and he contradicted himself in the interview?

You think that being mean only consists of attacking someone's character and name calling. It's also mean to say someone is obsessed without proof.

Do you know it's mean to say the relationship of someone you don't know personally is incontestably fake? What if you're wrong? And to make matters worse, you were. You contradicted yourself, because Swift might have had feelings for Hiddlestone.

If you're going to say something about a stranger's life, don't you think you should do a little Googling? Don't you think it's wise to not use words like incontestably? Don't you think it's wise to read someone's words properly before criticizing them and say they contradict themselves?

Why be so inconsiderate? Don't you think these people have feelings? I know that some of you think that celebrities don't have feelings because they're rich. They shouldn't complain and they don't disserve sympathy. And that's why I said internet psychopaths. Psychopaths don't think other people have feelings.

It's time you work on your reading comprehension. The statement "Swift might have feelings for Hiddleston" obviously entails a leading question: then did Hiddleston have feelings for Swift? A healthy relationship certainly cannot subsist on unilateral love. The fizzling-out after a mere three month, in that case, was a foregone conclusion.

And you're seriously using Google as your source of information? Circa 2016 and early 2017 Google told me that Harvey Weinstein is a feminist and polite and cordial to women, then what happened? At any rate, I googled Hiddleswift myself and the articles that call out their relationship as fake far outnumbers those that stick to the opinion that it is genuine. You have the propensity for selecting information but I'm fine with that!

I know for a fact that if you ask any actor in London if he thinks Hiddleswift was real he will give you a laugh and say, "Of course it was fake!" I'm on the fringe of the London theatre scene and even I heard that Hiddleston jumped on the chance because he thought it'll bump up his profile in Hollywood.

Guys, it's really hard for me to disagree with anything Trisky writes, it's so spot on. Ahemmmm. I guess we just all see things different. Movining on.

Spot on?

No, it's not!

You can say you agree, but to declare that Triksy is spot on is equivalent to believing the lies s/he says about me and agreeing with Blanc.

Why is Blanc in the equation? She/he is not even on here.

And what lies about you?

I'm sorry, I really do skim, my attn span is well you know...

No! I've never seen Julia Roberts barefoot on the red carpet.

You may not have seen her. But a lot of people did, so much so that it’s well documented in the internet in dozens of sites, images and articles.

Julia Robert has been well known to have graced several awards barefoot. And if you consider a red carpet on the wedding aisle, she was barefoot when she married her first husband Lyle Lovett.

She also walked barefoot in Cannes.

I recently watched the episode of Friends she was on and she was playing a scene in the bathroom with Chandler......with her shoes off and barefoot. I know if was only a scene on TV and fake, but I thought "who the hell takes their shoes off in a public restroom?"

His halo is so bright for you.

Well, Gal, didn’t look so enthused either. I wonder if someone is going to do another ‘Sound of Silence’ short video soon. grinning

Well, to Ben's defense, he probably was drunk, because he was kissing everyone, even HC. He did a perv move and walked behind Gal and kissed her. confounded
