Marco Bechis (Santiago de Chile, Chile, October 24, 1955) is a Chilean-Italian screenwriter and film director. He is a survivor of the concentration camp “El Club Atlético”, where he was detained for 15 days in April 1977, during the Argentine military dictatorship. He was expelled to Italy, since he had a passport from that country. His film "Garage Olimpo", which talks about this dictatorship, was presented at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival. |

Marco Bechis (Santiago de Chile, Chile, 24 de octubre de 1955) es un guionista y director de cine chileno-italiano. Es sobreviviente del campo de concentración “El Club Atlético”, donde estuvo detenido 15 días en abril de 1977, en plena dictadura militar argentina. Fue expulsado a Italia, ya que contaba con pasaporte de ese país. Su película "Garage Olimpo", la cuál habla sobre dicha dictadura, fue presentada en el Festival de Cannes de 1999. |
