Vulture Club. Political thriller. Matt plays Sam, a journalist taken hostage in Iraq by ISIS. Susan plays his mother fighting for his freedom in the US. Unless Matt secretly left the country, I heard it was filmed in NYC. That leads me to believe he won't have much screen time and the focus of the film will probably be on Susan's character. I hope I'm wrong. I also hope this is for the big screen.
You're right. I feel the same way. Matt is getting a cred playing a suffering character actor I think. He does show heroic suffering like no other. YOu make good points. I'm thinking this is more of an Indie movie, a Susan Sarandon show. Still will be great to see Matt. Hope he has a decent screen time. Let's hope for the best.
Matt just said in an interview that he plays a coorespondent close to Susan's son in the film who spearheads the campaign to find him. So....possibly decent screen time.
