韦家辉，香港著名电视、电影制作人。曾担任电视及电影编剧、导演、监制等职。作品包括有极受欢迎的长篇电视剧，以及获得香港电影金像奖最佳电影的作品。韦家辉1981年加入香港无线电视编剧训练班，曾参与改编金庸原著神雕侠侣、鹿鼎记为电视剧。之后升任编审，五年后晋升创作总监，作品义不容情、大时代成为一时经典。1995年首次执导电影，作品为和平饭店。于1981年加入香港无线电视台编剧组，五年后晋升创作总监，并于1989年成为监制。1996年加入杜琪峰创建的银河映像，在银河映像的首部作品《一个字头的诞生》就大获好评。随后与杜琪峰合作过多部作品，常被人称为香港电影界崛起的黄金组合。 韦家辉的名字成为收视率的保证。韦家辉是成功了，他有才华又遇伯乐，与杜琪峰组成近十年来香港电影的黄金搭档，既得艺术高名，又能票房连捷，当真春风得意。他在业界建立极高声望、在影迷中煽起无比崇敬的是两部早期作品：《和平饭店》和《一个字头的诞生》，后者荣获1996年“香港影评人协会”的最佳剧本奖。

Wai Ka-fai is a Hong Kong writer, filmmaker, producer and former TV director and producer.

Wai is best known for his frequent collaborations with Johnnie To, another former TV turned film director and producer. In 1996, they formed Milkyway Image, which is now one of the most successful independent film studios in Hong Kong. The films that the two have made together as directors and producers include Needing You..., Fat Choi Spirit, Love on a Diet, Help!!!, Love for All Seasons, Fulltime Killer, Turn Left, Turn Right and Running on Karma.

Two of his films were released in the US theatrically: Fulltime Killer and Mad Detective.
