The world needs actors with the charisma of Jack Nicholson. Even in his lesser work, he has a magnetic appeal, one of the last true stars. His best work is decades behind us but any 'Jack' movie would always be en exciting prospect, a potential event movie. Rumours have popped up from time to time of him emerging from retirement - a year or two back there was talk of a Hollywood remake of the excellent German film Toni Erdmann with him taking the male lead. But it has always come to nought. I wonder what kind of script, if any, could entice him to step in front of the cameras one last time.
