I know what you mean... I do quite often enjoy him, though. Perhaps he has simply been very lucky to be cast in roles which fit his very specific, limited range so well - he is genuinely terrific in Roger Dodger, The Squid and the Whale and The Social Network and it's hard to imagine any other contemporary actor doing as well or better in those roles.
I find it annoying too, glad to see I'm not alone. And, let's be clear - I'm not against dignifying characters based on having autism. If an actor can act such a role authentically, terrific. But, when it seems like every character he plays, it's hardly "acting" anymore, it's just his schtick, one that's worn thin. If he is autistic, fine, great to see an autistic person working in the industry. If he's not (which, I presume is the case), it's back to where I started - annoying.
I watched Now You See Me because the story was interesting enough to me, as was the rest of the cast, but I haven't even bothered with The Social Network. I don't mind a Woody Allen film either, but can't imagine seeing him in Cafe Society.
And, as I think about it, I can recall several actors I don't really like who impressed me to the extent I had to admit they did a splendid job, far above my expectations:

So, I'm not so much of a hater that I can't recognize good work when I see it.
If I ever see it.

Well, I saw it.
Eisenberg was actually perfect for his role in Cafe Society - kudos!
