Biography

Jason started acting in 2013, his first debut was a web commercial that same year for Franklin Covey. From there Jason went on to do commercials for BlueHost and Check City. In 2017, Jason played a college football player in the series "In The Vault". In 2020, Jason got a role in the movie "American Murderer" starring Tom Pelphrey and Ryan Phillippe. In 2021, Jason got to star in a national commercial for Goodyear Tires.

Jason Jerell grew up in Reserve, Louisiana, which is located about 25 miles from Downtown New Orleans. As a kid, Jason excelled at sports. (football, basketball, and baseball) After a successful senior year of high school football at East St. John high school, located in Reserve, LA. Jason attended Nicholls State University in 2005 to play college football. However, things didn't go as planned. He than moved to Hayward, Ca to play football at Chabot College. After 2 successful seasons at Chabot College, he received First Team All Conference award, as well as being named the Scholar Athlete of the Year. From there, Jason received a football scholarship to Idaho State University where he completed his Jr/Sr years of college football. Jason was fortunate enough to play football on the next level, he worked out for NFL scouts. He also played professionally in the AFL, IFL, and CPIFL until 2014. His position was defensive lineman.

Jason passion is fitness and self betterment. Owner of the athletic brand "Cut The Quit". The phrase #CheatDeathNotSets is often used and promoted through the brand.
