Strikingly comely brunette Patty Shepard was born in 1945 in Greenville, South Carolina. The daughter of a U.S. Air Force official, Patty moved to Spain when she was only 18 years old. After becoming popular as a model in a series of TV commercials, the lovely Ms. Shepard embarked on an acting career, making her film debut in a small part in La ciudad no es para mí (1966) (aka "The City is Not for Me"). She initially acted in paella westerns and thrillers before appearing in a handful of horror movies which include Assignment Terror (1970) (aka "Dracula vs. Frankenstein"), The Werewolf Versus the Vampire Woman (1971) (aka "The Werewolf vs. the Vampire Woman"), Hannah, Queen of the Vampires (1973) (aka "Crypt of the Living Dead") and El monte de las brujas (1975) (aka "The Witches' Mountain") and Special Killers (1973) (aka "La Ragazza di Via Condotti"). Patty often acted alongside Spanish horror icon Paul Naschy in these films and projects a certain eerie otherworldly aura that's stunningly similar to Barbara Steele. Other films include the end-of-the-world science fiction feature Creation of the Damned (1974) (aka "Refuge of Fear") and the tongue-in-cheek spaghetti Western oddity Blood Money (1974) (aka "The Stranger and the Gunfighter"). After appearing in the horror movies Rest in Pieces (1987) (aka "Rest in Pieces") and Slugs (1988) (aka "Slugs"), Shepard retired from acting in the late 1980's. She died of a heart attack at her home in Madrid, Spain on January 3, 2013.

Patty Moran Shepard (Greenville, Carolina del Sur, Estados Unidos, 1 de octubre de 1945-Madrid, 3 de enero de 2013),​ conocida artísticamente como Patty Shepard, fue una actriz de cine estadounidense que trabajó fundamentalmente en la década de los años setenta en España e Italia.

Nació en 1945 en los Estados Unidos, se trasladó a España con tan solo dieciocho años con su padre militar, destinado en la base estadounidense de Torrejón de Ardoz. Tras hacerse famosa como modelo en anuncios publicitarios de televisión, dio el salto a la gran pantalla.

Interpretó una serie de spaghetti westerns y películas de terror de bajo presupuesto; compartiendo cartel en varias ocasiones con el icono del terror español, Paul Naschy.

En 1967 contrajo matrimonio con el también actor Manuel de Blas.

Patty Shepard Dél-Karolinában született. Húga Judith Chapman (szül. Judith Shepard) az Egyesült Államokban lett szappanoperák gyakori színésze, szerepelt többek között a Gyilkos sorok c. krimisorozatban. Édesapjuk az az Amerikai Egyesült Államok Légierejénél szolgált Spanyolországban, a Madrid melletti Torrejón de Ardoz légibázisan. Patty is itt tartózkodott és a madridi egyetemen filozófiát tanult.

Hamar elkezdett modellkedni és pályáját reklámszínésznőként indította, főleg amerikai brandyket népszerűsítő reklámokban lépett fel. Tehetsége és bájos megjelenése révén egyre feljebb jutott a szakmában és véglegesen Spanyolországban telepedett le 1966-tól. Hozzátartozott még ehhez, hogy 1967-ben egy film, a Cita en Navarra forgatásán megismerkedett leendő férjével Manuel de Blassal. Tőle született fia, David.

Ismert, hogy a Bud Spencer-Terence Hill-féle Különben dühbe jövünk című spanyol-olasz filmvígjátékban is szerepelt, mint Liza, a kötéltáncos. Férje is megkapta az egyik mellékszerepet, Paganini zenész bérgyilkosét, mely alakítása viszont éppoly emlékezetes maradt.

Több horrorfilm szereplője is volt, feltűnik még spagettiwesternekben is, A vámpírok éjjele c. León Klimovsky-féle horrorban egy érzéki megjelenésű magyar vámpírnőt, Nádasdy grófnőt testesíti meg. 1988-ban visszavonult a színészi pályától.

Halálát szívroham okozta, férje mellett, madridi otthonukban hunyt el 67 éves korában.
