This is such a great story.. And, yes, it would make a brilliant film - in the right hands!! So many Stephen King stories have not had the treatment they deserved. Do you think Frank would do it justice ? I certainly loved The Walking Dead when it was his project.

Frank has done a pretty good job with other King treatments, the expectations would be high that he'd nail The Long Walk. Re: The Walking Dead, I'm honestly of the persuasion that Frank got the idea for The Walking Dead from King's The Stand, but I've no proof other than, when I read The Stand, I was hoping that the story would examine more the aspect of surviving in the new world after the virus, rather than the strange apocalyptic direction King went...and The Walking Dead seems like what I envisioned early into The Stand.
