Happy birthday, but I don't like his "acting." He's the same person in every movie, and absolutely shows no vulnerability, ever. Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Willis, all the major action stars have taken roles exploring nuanced, complex characters that were decidedly not indestructible action heroes.

If I've missed Seagal doing anything remotely more challenging than any plot to give him a chance to use his chops (pun intended, because I'm only referring to martial arts chops, not acting chops), do let me know. I've even made a list of movies that compel me to give credit to an actor I don't like. I call it Haters Gotta Rate. If there is a Seagal movie that would demand my respect and ought to be on my list, please recommend!
