My problem was: I didn't want to delete this entry and move the credits to another entry, because the TMDb ID is very low and was originally created for him. We always try to keep the lower IDs in the database.

I assume the posters are a cache problem -> but I'm not sure. I'm trying to find out and reply when I found an answer ...

Thanks for all your work on helping to straighten out these two people getting Siamese twinned. I know Tim (the 2001 maniacs director) personally and it was the images that were a clue to me. I mean he's my friend so I don't sit around searching him a lot but I looked at some of them and I was like hey, wait I know he didn't do these movies and that made me take a closer look and discover the mixup. Anyway I emailed him him and told him not to pass out, that I thought the posters would probably resolve themselves in time and to be patient.

With similar names it's often hard to distinguish people and their credits. Thanks for your help in this case!

I just read an answer from Travis about the issue:

There's a 24 hour cache on the known for items. It's at the CDN level meaning every region has its own, so someone might see the updates in France but if you cached it in Brazil, you'd have to wait.

So, this will be solved soon or has been solved already -> just depends on where you live.
