People are marked as adult actors when at least 10% of their credits are on adult titles. I looked, and the two films he wrote in the 70s are tagged as adult; the solution is to add more of his non-adult credits to the database.
ETA: I added a bunch of his sound department credits and re-saved it, it should be fine now.
