Biography

Karlee's passion for performing began at the early age of four years old. She pursued her love of dance and musical theatre in her hometown Vancouver, BC. She has studied many forms of dance including tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, Polynesian, modern and musical theatre. This early introduction to performing led to a life-long desire to entertain, whether in film or live theatre. It was a natural progression into acting that led her into formal actor's training in Las Vegas, NV where she trained with some of most respected acting coaches, honing and perfecting her craft.

During her time in Las Vegas, she continued to follow her passion for living an active lifestyle and met a personal trainer with a background in professional boxing. He introduced her to the boxing world where she quickly found she had an affinity to the choreographed and structured moves so familiar to those who have studied formal dance genres.

Karlee didn't immediately see this skill as one she would bring to the big screen one day, but has always believed in following your instincts. As it turns out, this was somewhat prophetic as the movie "Excelsis" makes extensive use of this skill set.

Karlee now resides in Toronto, ON where she continues to build upon her skills through scene study and voice training classes.

Karlee hopes to empower women with the message that no matter what happens in life, anything is possible with enough belief and perseverance! In fact, Karlee has always been drawn to roles that give hope even when the odds seem insurmountable. She hopes to inspire others to be the best they can be and to never give up. "Follow your heart and be open to possibilities - the rest will follow".
