Thanks for all the reports. I had to delete one of the images you added since we want the profile images to be as neutral as possible. It was a nice image, but just not a fit as a profile image here.

Is there a thread or something which describes what the perfect profile image is?

Not an official one. We have one internally where we are working on setting up some basic rules for all image uploads. When we are done we can hopefully add some image guidelines to our documentation.
