Other films she appeared in are " The Heart Raider (1923)", "Six Cylinder Love (1923)", "Applause (1929)", "Glorifying the American Girl (1929)", "Roadhouse Nights (1930)", "You Belong to Me (1934)", "Marie Galante (1934)", "Sweet Music (1935)", "Go Into Your Dance (1935)" and "Frankie and Johnnie (1936)".
Helen Morgan also appeared in the short films "The Gigolo Racket (1931)", "Manhattan Lullaby (1933)" and "The Doctor (1934)".
Her tragic life was depicted in the film "The Helen Morgan Story (1957)".

Good post, @wonder!
I don't remember what exact films (a few or so) of Miss Morgan's I've seen, but remember her popping up in multiple old movies where she sings a torch song or two in a nightclub. When I recall her, that's the immediate mental picture that's conjured up.

Yes, Miss Morgan performs very well wherever she appears.
Her Biopic (1957) differs in various ways from her life's story and career path, but if you watch it and realize the liberties which differ this from her biography, before you see, say Showboat (1935), then you may well appreciate her fine on-screen melodramatic characterizations all the more.

Miss Morgan was caricatured at least once - in the short cartoon The CooCoo Nut Grove. That's a fun little flick, with an all-star (via caricatures) cast.
