Ellen DeGeneres is known as host of the Syndication TV talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show (2003-)".
She played Ellen Morgan on the ABC TV sitcom "Ellen (1994-1998)" and Ellen Richmond on the CBS TV sitcom "The Ellen Show (2001-2002)".
Some other TV shows she appeared on are "Duet", "Open House", "Laurie Hill", "Roseanne", "The Dana Carvey Show", "Mad About You", "The Larry Sanders Show", "Will & Grace", "The Bernie Mac Show", "Six Feet Under", "Joey" and "The Big Bang Theory".
She appeared in movies like "Coneheads (1993)", "Mr. Wrong (1996)", "Goodbye Lover (1998)", "Edtv (1999)", "The Love Letter (1999)", "If These Walls Could Talk 2 (2000)", "Reaching Normal (2001)" and "Pauly Shore Is Dead (2003)".
She was the voice of Dory in the animated movies "Finding Nemo (2003)" and "Finding Dory (2016)".

I didn't remember her being on Roseanne, but I think it was the last season that I don't remember that well. It seems like she played a doctor.

She was in the episode S7E22 "The Blaming of the Shrew (1995)".
There's a very funny scene where Jackie and Fred go to a marriage counselor, Dr. Whitman (played by Ellen DeGeneres).
