Paula Gaitán is a french-colombian filmmaker, based in Brazil. She was married to the film-maker Glauber Rocha and made her debut as art director of the film The Age of the Earth (1980), a success at the Venice Film Festival. She currently directs experimental and monumental films. |

Paula Gaitán é uma artista plástica, fotógrafa, poeta e cineasta franco-colombiana. Graduada em Artes Visuais e Filosofia pela Universidade de Los Andes, mudou-se para o Brasil em 1977. No ano seguinte trabalhou com Glauber Rocha, assinando a direção de arte do filme A Idade da Terra. |
