"I'll Walk Alone" was performed in the movie "Follow the Boys (1944)" and it was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song in the 17th Academy Awards in 1948.
"Buttons and Bows" was sung by the actor Bob Hope in the western comedy movie "The Paleface (1948)" and it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in the 21st Academy Awards in 1949.

Was also thinking of her today on her 26th Leap Year birthday.
