I'm curious how she managed to get to New York from Alabama if she doesn't drive and she said she never drove except briefly when she was in driver's ed. Maybe she went with someone else. Quite likely her brother.

I hate driving also but I'd never go anywhere if I didn't drive. I don't live in an area where I can take public transportation even though I'd prefer that. I'd give anything to live in a city where I could take public transit or walk.
