Chloe Bennet (born Chloe Wang on April 18, 1992), is an American actress and singer. She is starring as the superhero Daisy Johnson aka Quake in the ABC series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Bennet was born on April 18, 1992, in Chicago, Illinois, to a Chinese father and a Jewish-American mother. She moved to Beijing, China to pursue a singing career. While she was there, she studied Mandarin, learned the demands of international pop stardom and released her debut single "Uh Oh" in both English and Mandarin, followed by "Every Day In Between" solely in English. She then moved to Los Angeles, California. She appeared in the 2011 music video for "Tonight", by Korean band Big Bang.

From 2012 to 2013 Bennet played a recurring supporting role in the ABC drama series Nashville as Hailey, and previously hosted the TeenNick show The Nightlife.  In December 2012, Bennet was cast as a series regular on the ABC series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which premiered on September 24, 2013.  She plays Skye (later changed name to Daisy Johnson), a hacktivist member of the secret organization The Rising Tide, who has been brought into S.H.I.E.L.D. and becomes the superhero Quake. She is also known for her role as Yi in the DreamWorks film ‘Abominable’, and her role as Robyn on Hulu’s ‘Dave’.

Née d’un père chinois, Chloe Wang choisit le patronyme de sa mère américaine, Bennet, pour sa carrière d’artiste. Alors qu’elle grandit à Chicago avec ses six frères, la jeune femme âgée de 15 ans est repérée par un producteur de musique, qui lui prédit un avenir sur le territoire asiatique. Enthousiaste, la jeune fille déménage à Beijing chez sa grand-mère paternelle, où elle apprend le Mandarin. Elle sort un premier single intitulé "Uh Oh", chanté dans ses deux langues d’origine, avant son deuxième titre "Every Day In Between", exclusivement en anglais. Après un bref succès au pays du Soleil Levant, l'adolescente rentre aux Etats-Unis, direction Los Angeles, où commence sa vie d’actrice.

Ses premiers pas à la télévision, elle les fait dans l’émission The Nightlife, diffusée sur TeenNick, qu’elle co-anime aux côtés de Nick Cannon et Aaron Fresh. Elle participe ensuite à sept épisodes de la première saison du show musical d’ABC, Nashville, en 2012, où elle y côtoie notamment Connie Britton et Hayden Panettiere. Sa collaboration avec le network ne s’arrête pas là, puisque Chloe Bennet est désignée pour jouer l’un des personnages principaux de la série évènement de la rentrée 2013, Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Elle y incarne Skye, une hackeuse recrutée par l’organisation gouvernementale secrète qui s’occupe de toutes les affaires ayant trait aux phénomènes paranormaux.
