He's a pretty good writer of children's books.

He? Or was that a "burn"?

I was going to post something about JKR so, if you're still about 5 1/2 years later, here you go!

Apparently, despite the calls for its banning etc etc, the "Hogwarts Legacy" game turned out to be one of 2023's bestsellers.

Rowling's offence, to me, seems to be not following the currently-approved school of thought on one subject. A school of thought that, judging by the sales of the game above, seems to not be as universally supported as the VERY vocal people who have a lot to say about the matter would like everyone to believe. This "failure" seems to have cancelled out all the charitable work she has done/still does in the minds of those people and many of the actors in the Harry Potter films have gone out of their way to distance themselves from her. (Even though some of them would have no career had they not been cast in the films). Yet at least two well-known directors have been accused of actual, prosecutable, crimes rather than just spreading unpopular opinions but, while a few people have publicly distanced themselves from these men, they still have many supporters who happily speak out to support them.
