With all the controversy surrounding Hollywood whitewashing and the lack of roles available for poc, I thought that Michael Carmen Pitt would know better than to jump into something like this. And for what? All so he could have a part in a movie that's so mediocre? Whatever happened to valuing artistic merit over of money? Because obviously there's no other reason to be in a movie like that.

It's not that I value him less as an actor. Though I must say that I am disappointed that he took a role that should have gone to an Asian actor. As a woman of color, I can't help but feel that Pitt's actions have shown a lack of integrity.
