Ellie Goulding is an English singer-songwriter and author. She is known for her high piercing vibrato, breathy tone and emotive delivery vocals. She has released four studio albums, 'Lights (2010)', 'Halcyon (2013)', 'Delirium (2015)' and 'Brightest Blue (2020)', which spanned several worldwide hits, including: 'Lights', 'Anything Could Happen', 'Burn', 'I Need Your Love', 'On My Mind', 'Love Me Like You Do', 'Something In The Way You Move', 'Still Falling For You', 'Close To Me', 'Hate Me', and most recently 'River' which became the last number one song of the decade (10's), as well the first of the 20's in the United Kingdom. She released her fifth studio album 'Higher Than Heaven' on April 7th, 2023, which debuted at number one in the United Kingdom, her fourth chart-topping record to do so, making her the british female with most number one albums, tying with Adele. Her latest single 'Miracle' topped the UK Charts for eight non-consecutive weeks, and became her 35 entry on the UK Singles Chart, making Goulding the british and european female artist with most songs entries in the UK history.

Goulding has received numerous accolades, including three Brit Awards (including the prestigious BRIT Billion Award), a Billboard Music Awards, two Glamour Awards, and a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance. She was honored with a Decade Award by the Variety Hitmakers Awards in 2019 and has received a honorary 'Doctor of Arts degree' by the University of Kent for her contribution and impact in music. She is one of the best selling british female singers of all-time.
