At the center of the plot are Assi (Zahavi) and Nivi (Yuval Sharaf), divorced parents of a girl with a rare form of epilepsy (Emmanuel Pepper, the real daughter of Uri Viyal). No medicine can control this epilepsy except for special cannabis oil, which she receives as part of a clinical study and prevents her from brain damage (in the role of researcher: Alma Dishi). A frightening event in the premiere episode leads to the termination of the research, and the cannabis strain in question is confiscated and sent to be destroyed in a truck. This truck, and what is waiting for it, are the key to the continuation of the affair.

The story follows Avi (Ben Sultan), a young man from the Tel Aviv suburb of Bat Yam, who finds himself embroiled in affairs with local Arabs from Jaffa. He joins the Israeli Border Police to settle scores with them, and quickly becomes an effective and respected police officer, while also falling in love with a border policewoman, who is a pacifist. But his past is constantly catching up with him to remind him that he will never change.

A sudden inexplicable disappearance of 36 members of an ideological community settled in northern Israel, brings Leah Kafka, a fresh police investigator from the city who specializes in cults, to cooperate with the local authorities and investigate what turns out to be a terribly convoluted mystery. All entangled in a situation feared to impact the state's security and secrecy, and the lives of innocent people who got in the middle of intrigues and conspiracies, Leah and the local residents go on a tortuous journey of illusions, secrets, enlightenments and uncertainty, in which no direction, relationship or logic is kept intact.

Atlantica is a dark and edgy comedy about a failing rock band from Jerusalem that gets its shot at a long awaited success when a tour guide with inspirations of becoming a band manager joins them. The band members dream of fame and glory while their lives are much less glamorous. In addition to gigs in dark, empty pubs, and bar owners and p.r. people who swindle them, these guys have to overcome the mental barriers facing musicians in their late thirties that refuse to grow up. Yet this tight knit group of friends will not give up on its dream and follows it no matter what.
