故事講述主角木之本櫻意外地將用於封印卡牌的書籍打開。其卡牌為魔法師庫洛·里德創造之庫洛牌，每張卡牌都有其不同能力，擁有自我意識並隨意行動。為了阻止卡牌的行動對世界造成災難，櫻在守護者「可魯貝洛斯」的委託下，將四散的卡牌回收至封印書中。
