You're On! is an American television game show aired from 1998–1999 on Nickelodeon. The show took a premise similar to Candid Camera; however, to adopt the format better for a children's game show, You're On! featured youth contestants trying to convince a passersby to complete a series of predetermined tasks while unknowingly on camera.

The show was taped in Soundstage 18 of Nickelodeon Studios Florida and was hosted by Phil Moore. The remote hosts for You’re On! were Vivianne Collins and Travis White. These two would brief the kids on their tasks, congratulate them when all three tasks were completed, or let them know time was up.

Reruns of You’re On! have aired on Nickelodeon Games and Sports for Kids. It was dropped from the schedule on November 26, 2004.

The Big Help is a community outreach program made famous in 1994 by Nickelodeon. It was a yearly event in which kids from around the country would call in to try to get one of their local parks refurbished by Nickelodeon, the ten with the most votes would get refurbished by Nickelodeon in an eight-hour special. There were special instances like the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack where they had unscheduled specials. In 2008, a sequel emerged called The Big Green Help, which was created to get kids interested in global warming. In 2010, the name "The Big Help" was revived.

Welcome Freshmen is a television show that ran on Nickelodeon from 1991 to 1993. The show took place at Hawthorne High School with a group of high school students and a bumbling vice principal. Game shows like Get the Picture and Nick Arcade had celebrity episodes starring some of the cast of Welcome Freshmen and Clarissa Explains It All.

Get the Picture is an American children's game show that aired from March 18, 1991 to December 6, 1991 on Nickelodeon. Hosted by Mike O'Malley, the show features two teams answering questions and playing games for the opportunity to guess a hidden picture on a giant screen made up of 16 smaller screens. The show was taped at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The program's theme music and game music was composed by Dan Vitco & Mark Schultz, and produced by Schultz. Its tagline is The Great Frame Game.

Nickelodeon Splat! is a television block on Nickelodeon. It aired live every weekday in the summer of 2004, during commercial breaks between Nickelodeon shows on the early evening programming block. It was a game show, with teams divided into three colors. The teams, made up of audience members and park guests age 7 to 16 taken from the Universal Studios Florida theme park, would have to perform silly humorous tasks to earn prizes. At the end of each show one team would win, and the team along with its captain and respective portion of the studio audience would be blasted with the network's trademark slime. An ongoing score was also kept, and at the end of the series, the yellow team had won.

The show was canceled in October 2004. It was the final program to be taped at Nickelodeon Studios, as the studio closed less than a year after the final taping.

Nick News with Linda Ellerbee is an educational children's and teenagers' television show on Nickelodeon that has been shown since 1992. Nick News takes the form of a highly rated and recognized news program for children and teenagers alike, discussing important social, political and economic issues in a format intended for both children and adults.

The show is famous for allowing normal teenagers to speak out on their own personal opinions on a number of past and current worldwide issues and topics, including events such as Black History Month.

Nickelodeon Weinerville is an American television program on Nickelodeon that was produced in 1993 and 1994, and aired in re-runs until 1997. The show was based around a giant puppet stage which was designed to look like a city, called Weinerville. The show was hosted by Marc Weiner.

Marc Weiner teamed up with Nickelodeon with the premiere of Nickelodeon Weinerville, a half-hour variety show using classic elements of kids programming, including puppeteering and interaction with a live studio audience, to entertain kids and their parents. Since its premiere, Weinerville has drawn the attention of such shows as Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America and CBS This Morning for being television's first and only half-man/half-puppet variety show where kids are transformed into puppet citizens.

The show has also received numerous award nominations, including two CableACE Award nominations, and has received acclaim from: The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, the Daily News, the New York Post, Newsday, TV Guide and the Los Angeles Times.

The show premiered on July 11, 1993. During the first season, all episodes ran in a two-hour marathon every Sunday. However, Weinerville quickly gained popularity: in the middle of the first season Nickelodeon began running the show on weekday afternoons. For the second season, which premiered on May 2, 1994, the episodes aired daily. The show aired on Nickelodeon until June 30, 1997, although the Chanukah special re-ran on December 21, 1997.

Oh Yeah! Cartoons was an American animation showcase that appeared on the Nickelodeon cable channel. Oh Yeah! was an animation project guided by Fred Seibert, former Creative Director of MTV Networks and President of Hanna-Barbera. Produced by Frederator Studios, it ran as part of Nickelodeon's Nicktoons lineup, and in its second season, was hosted by Kenan Thompson of All That and Kenan & Kel fame; Then later by Josh Server, from All That, for its third season. Bill Burnett composed the show's theme music. Oh Yeah! Cartoons was distributed by Nelvana outside of the United States.

In terms of sheer volume, Oh Yeah! Cartoons remains TV's biggest animation development program ever. Giving several dozen filmmakers the opportunity to create nearly 100 seven-minute cartoons, the series eventually yielded three dedicated half-hour spin-offs:
