Discuss Avengers: Age of Ultron

Still my least favourite of the Avengers movies.

It's interesting on a rewatch seeing the first appearances of Wanda and Vision after watching and thoroughly enjoying their TV show.

First mention of Wakanda!

In a film full of spectacular action sequences my favourite scene was seeing the Avengers (and friends) off duty in the party scene! Thor's face when he thinks Cap might lift Mjolnir is priceless but he'll have to wait a while longer for that 😉

Drunk Stan Lee - "Eggshell-she-or" 😂

Bye bye Joss Whedon, good luck in your future endeavours.

Gus ..... Honey ..... The only reason i keep watching Age Of Ultron .... is the party scene that begins at around 23 Minutes ..... And lasts for about 6 Minutes. The only best part of this Movie .... this scene is Unintentionally Epic & far more Worth than anything. They forgot to add Comedy right next to Action & Sci-Fi. A Great Comedy that is. two_hearts

Happy New Year, G&N!

This one feels much more “comicbook-ish” than many of the MCU movies from back then, and for that reason, I enjoy it more.

Agreed, Age of Ultron is my least favorite Avengers movies too.

It's definitely more fantastical than Captain America II, which is pretty much a Tom Clancy flick with a superhero in the lead. I say this as a compliment

The Winter Soldier is way richer ..... and a better Marvel movie with a good storyline.... action sequences .... and with awesome music. Captain America is what Tom Clancy's characters should be ..... coz he's a soldier and that's what they do. If you don't get this .... then stop watching movies and do what you do best ....... amuse people with your ridiculous stupidity .... But Believe me ..... It won't take you far ..... and lead you to Me. Go home man .....

Are you addressing someone who takes part in the board? If so, whom?

@CelluloidFan .... I wasn't addressing your point here .......

However funny he can be at times, mech is like the site's resident vampire... he lives to bait others into a fight, then, once he's got you, he argues exhaustively... good luck with him....

I thoroughly enjoyed the fight between The Hulk and Tony in his Hulkbuster suit...... upon a 2nd viewing, I was like, this cuts it, this makes the movie.

Like something right out of the books (and maybe it is).

Agreed!

This scene was executed infinitely more deftly than the brawl between Superman and The Dark Knight, while the latter was wearing his Kryptonian-buster getup

While BvS was a very mixed bag with a lot of shit in it (I refuse to condemn it as the worst superhero film ever made just because it's "hip" to do so. Especially while the likes of Ghost Rider, The Green Lantern, Catwoman, Spawn and Suicide Squad still exist. Hell, it's not even the worst Batman film, unless someone has found a strand of the multiverse where Batman and Robin isn't an absolute abomination.) the actual big match you refer to was pretty damn well made and probably the best part of the film. Until it swiftly led into the worst part of the film, that whole 'Martha' fiasco.

The Superman / Batman fight was SO boring! It turned me off to the whole film. Yawnnn.

It was so funny when Tony laid all those blows into the Hulk, and it looked like Tony had him. Then, the Hulk SPAT, like 'Time for round 2!' I think Stark said something like "I'm sorry," and the fight continued in earnest. Haha

It's taken you long enough to admit that you've really been getting a laugh out of what I've written, 'Loid. In all seriousness though, I haven't been arguing with anyone on this thread, and have no intention of doing so now. Let's avoid going off-topic, and stick to discussing The MCU

EDIT: Admittedly, I haven’t laughed at that much. Sometimes you score a point, though… that Black Widow quip in this thread was not bad.

Again, admittedly, you didn't get under my skin with those remarks. I just have too many relatives & know too many people who are so fair-skinned, it'd be wrong to laugh at your remarks.

Given that none of the above is germane to the subject of this thread, let's stick to discussing The MCU

That's a really interesting point to make that suggestion at, but sure....

We did, in that same movie, also get several lingering shots of a fresh-off-The Crush Alicia Silverstone's leather clad derriere. That's a plus that the otherwise rightly reviled B&R never gets credit for. One can't give similar credit to Batman V Superman, on account of Snyder's decision to have Amy Adams remain underneath all those bubbles when Clark walks in on her in the bathtub,

That Amy Adams scene was hotter than that Silverstone ass shot. B&R doesn't even beat it in that department.

I laughed at the bit where he says "Damage report?" and the suit just makes a glitchy noise. I don't know why but I found that really funny.
