En un dels seus molts viatges, Goomer, un camioner intergalàctic, es troba amb un planeta habitat. Goomer realitza un aterratge d'emergència, plantant-se en una festa organitzada per un admirat productor de cinema. Goomer és rebut amb entusiasme i sent que ha arribat en el moment tan anhelat per tot ésser humà: fer-se ric.

宇航员古莫先生是银河系的探险家和征服者，虽然他有点一个希望出名并且成为哥伦布第二的善良男人。每次宇宙旅行陪伴他的就是飞船里的中央电脑母亲和一个名叫鸡蛋头的机器人助手。在接近一个有生命迹象的不明星球时，飞船故障降落。古莫本以为自己可以成为那个星球的统治者。他带着美好幻想把鸡蛋头关在飞船里独自走出飞船，却发现在这里他什么也不是，并且陷入了一系列的麻烦中。

Goomer is an intergalactic space trucker who lands in an unknown planet and finds it impossible to leave. After a long intergalactic trip his robot assistant wakes Goomer - they are approaching a planet that shows signs of life. Goomer sees the possibility of making business and rapidly getting rich since nobody there knows his reputation. Goomer hopes to become a celebrity as the first human to landed on this planet. But nobody really cares for him - at first.
