Used to love that song, there can be miracleees lol
I just rewatched it and still enjoyable as an adult as I forgot about the Moses story and had no idea before about the actors who did the voices. Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Patrick Stewart, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Goldblum etc? Wow, big cast for a 90s film.

It did nice at the box office, received mostly positive reviews, was nominated for 2 Oscars and won 1 of them (best original song). From 1998 to 2007, it was the highest grossing traditionally animated non-Disney film.
I've noticed it gets a lot of love on various social media sites from animated movie lovers for its animation, soundtrack, and the way it went about doing characterization. It's maintained a good level of adoration.
So I'd consider it popular enough!

I agree. Such an underrated gem. Rewatched it tonight on 4K BLU-RAY (Yes, Universal and DreamWorks put out a new released transferred from a new remaster of the original 35mm camera negative) and this film, 25 years later, still holds up and is a total banger. The animation, a-list cast, the score, the musical numbers - complete perfection.
