At the time, I remember this was considered the worst of the series. But I think 8, 9 and 10 and the remake had people rethinking that. It looks a lot better in comparison.

I've always liked this one, even prefer it to parts 3 & 7. It's definitely the sleaziest of the bunch and I think still had the highest body count of the 80s films. Too bad about the gore though, it could have been so much more but they really had to cut the sh*t out of it as well as the nudity (the sex scene in the woods was apparently much longer).

Don't forget when they first showed up at the home. Ethal: Don't out your hands on me. I got a bomb strapped to me and I'll blow us all up. I swear to it.

Part V does have a lot of hilarious moments! It was never my favorite Friday flick, but it does have a high body count and most of the later films were definitely not as good as it.

I always found this one to be interesting, and would have been much better if Jason had actually been the killer! But for me, I always will love Miguel Nunez showing up! Damn enchiladas!

exactly i've never understood the disrespect this film has always gotten. this film has everything we love about these films. blood, sex, nudity, humor, great, fun and unique characters, graphic violence all at the highest and most unedited levels. who cares that this film doesn't have jason. it's never bugged me at all and i'm the biggest friday the 13th fan ever. if you are a fan of these films you have to love and respect this film and know it's one of the best of these films.
