I always found this to be hilarious. I'm talking about the scene when we first see Shelly slowly walking up to Chris Andy and Debbie wearing that mask and holding a knife. I mean, we have Manfredini's suspenseful music playing and I think it was supposed to be scary. I wonder if anyone back in the day was fooled and actually thought Shelly was a killer. Lol!

That was a cool little gag. Gotta hand it to Shelly for getting Jason started on the mask thing...I wondered if the first one he wore was a nod to "Alice Sweet Alice", always reminded me of that film.

I've never seen Alice Sweet Alice but after looking at some pics of it I think you're probably right. Those masks are very similar. I'm going to have to watch that film one day.
