Well, completely forgettable and mediocre at best would be a more fitting description. Starts out semi-interesting, but the movie gets worse and worse as it progresses and drags the run time to almost two hours with pointless scenes like Russell Crowe grocery shopping. Russell Crowe's character is also completely pointless and they could've just given his role to the guy who literally takes his seat and job in the movie and it wouldn't have made the movie any worse and it would've probably saved them a few million dollars at least. Not even going to start on the co-drone flying chick, but I guess every mainstream movie has to tick those boxes these days. Good thing they waste several minutes trying to make them seem more interesting because the audience really cares that for these pointless side characters one of them has a kid coming and the other is getting married. Yeah, watching Crowe grocery shopping is more interesting than their backstories. What else....this movie gives a very accurate depiction of the US air force/military and apparently the only way to contact a military base is to call a phone that may or may not be off the hook so to speak depending on how interested the entire workforce of the base is on a basketball game. No problem though since a morbidly obese Russell Crowe can run from a grocery store to his car and drive from the grocery store back to the military base and run the drone operating center all in three minutes. Well, I guess it's as realistic as the basketball game that apparently lasts an entire day and night.
