Vandana and Arun fall in love the instant they meet. On a trip to a Shiv temple, they get married in an impromptu ceremony in front of God. A chance rainshower strands them at a remote hotel where Vandana gets pregnant. With their legal marriage just around the corner, they don't worry about the consequences of their actions, but unfortunately, Arun dies in a plane crash. Vandana chooses to have the child, Suraj, and as she promised to Arun, wants to raise him to be an Air Force pilot. Fate is cruel to Vandana, however, and the child is adopted by a wealthy family. Vandana becomes a nursemaid to stay close to Suraj. A family member tries to molest her, and in the ensuing fight, Suraj comes to protect her and kills the perpetrator. Vandana chooses a jail sentence to save Suraj, but in the course of her sentence, loses the family--and with it: Suraj.

În momentul în care se întâlnesc, Arun și Vandana se îndrăgostesc unul de celălalt. Se căsătoresc într-un templu și nu se gândesc la legalitatea căsătoriei lor. Dar când Arun moare, Vandana este însărcinată. Pentru că nu poate dovedi că s-a căsătorit cu Arun, Vandana încearcă să evite rușinea și îl duce pe Suraj la un orfelinat, pentru a-l adopta ulterior. Din păcate, o familie bogată îl adoptă pe Suraj, iar singura opțiune este că Vandana să intre în slujba acelei familii pentru a fi aproape de fiul său. Însă atunci când un membru al familiei o atacă pe Vandana, Suraj îi ia apărarea și îl ucide pe atacator. Pentru a-și proteja fiul, Vandana își asumă vina și este închisă. Dar sentința aceasta înseamnă să se îndepărteze de Suraj și să piardă urma familiei adoptive. Va reuși să-și mai găsească fiul?

Но он погибает, а девушка рожает незаконного ребенка. Она отдает его в семью, а сама устраивается туда няней. Родственник хозяев пристает к женщине и маленький мальчик (ее сын!) убивает его. Мать идет в тюрьму вместо сына…
