Gotta love those yellow police cars.

Seems to me I remember hearing in a commentary for this film that those vehicles were actually discarded police cars that director George Miller obtained for use in his movie. Though I'm guessing what we see here was not their original paint scheme:)

I liked them, though. I don't think anyone can claim they weren't original. I especially liked the bronze badge painted on the vehicles, near the rear bumper.
