For me it's Mitch. He is probably to this day the most relatable character I have personally seen on screen and the actor very convincingly pulled it off.
I agree about Dawson though, he was indeed funny and had some very memorable quotes...
"When I get to college I'm gonna do the bang bang bang bang bang bang bang!"
