I should know. I watched it in 2010 and recently watched a movie called "57 seconds" with a similar time traveling gimmick and on the other shameful movie site somebody said that "Prince of Persia" used the time travel gimmick better. I came to the realization that I didn't remember a single thing from "Prince of Persia" so it was time watch it again and I have to say that it really is a very mediocre and forgettable movie. The time travel gimmick is rather under- and poorly used like it was in "57 seconds" and in Prince of Persia it is only used a couple of times and apart from the scarcely used time travel aspect the movie is just a rather average action movie that is way too long at almost two hours. I suppose it's good that it was made in 2010 because these days I imagine people would be up in arms about Jake Gyllenhaal and Ben Kingsley cast as persians.
