After a promising start this dissolved into what appeared to be a faintly incoherent mess.
- Revok wanted a revolution of telepathy
- he would achieve that by hunting down almost every telepath, killing them and replacing them with baby telepaths
- he is involved in the manufacture of a chemical that supresses telepathy but also creates telepathic babies
- Revok is the head of a nefarious and powerful movement to usurpe the status quo, using allies as spies. But he, gets his hands dirty and blows up peoples heads in lecture theatres.
- Revok's allies all appear to be non-telepaths, so their motivations in helping him usher in a new era of telepathic dominance aren't altogether clear.
In the end there wasn't much more to enjoy than the setting, Ironside's menacing Revok, Cronenberg's effects and a hearty dose of completely over the top gurning and dramatic head tilting as part of telepathic combat.
