Alex' visions

So how do you think Alex got his visions? Did God or some other higher power give them to him? Perhaps even Death? I think he's probably got a sixth sense which went off when death targeted him or there was some mistake in the design of the universe that made it possible for him to see Death's plans.

Some people just have premonitions, and it may not be able to be explained. They just know somehow. It might even be something in their genetic makeup that they're not even fully conscious of how it triggers. Obviously this film takes it to an unrealistic degree towards the latter portion, but sometimes there is no clear answer IMO.
