When Michael Massee (Funboy) passed away...

...there were so many media headlines referring to him as "the guy who shot Brandon Lee". So unfair considering it was an accident and I'm sure he felt horrible about it for the rest of his life. He had a great career as an actor and deserved to be remembered for his body of work, not this tragedy.

I remember that too & thought it was disrespectful. I'm mostly reminded of his role in this film, the dirty cop in Tales from the Hood & the booth man from Se7en. Very good actor and was sad to hear of his passing.

That was really sad, yes. Unfortunately it's probably the main memory-prodder that the general public out there casually looking at news headlines would remember, and the press are notorious for bringing things down to that simplistic level to grab people with one headline.
It's a shame though, as he was such a fabulous actor.

Is it true that he was named in the lawsuit Brandon Lee's mother filed? I can understand her suing the studio, producer and maybe even the director, but how on earth could Michael Massee have been considered responsible at all?
