Discuss The Royal Tenenbaums

It may not be as cinematically impressive as Grand Budapest Hotel, but it was my introduction to Wes Anderson.

I think I agree with this! I really loved Gene Hackman in this, he was so memorable and his scenes at redemption were poignant. The movie also has just an absolutely brilliant use of score, especially with Luke Wilson's and Gweneth Paltrow's scene when they finally get together after he escapes from the Hospital. Truly a great movie, one that gets better with every viewing, just like most all Wes Anderson's films.

I think my second favorite would have to be Life Acquatic, that one is so darn funny. My third would be Darjeeling Ltd. Man, all of them are good!

The movie has an amazing soundtrack! Grand Budapest Hotel would be my second, followed by Fantastic Mr. Fox.

I've not seen Fantastic Mr. Fox. I've never been a fan of animated movies, except for earlier Disney musicals. However, now that I've seen every other Wes Anderson film and I love every one of them, I'm definitely going to have to give it a shot. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
