Discuss Hollow Man

Why would the military WANT an invisible soldier?Why would they want a soldier who had to go into battle naked,unarmed and completely vulnerable?If he gets injured they would have no way of treating him.

I don't think the screenwriter or studio thinks beyond the idea that something is cool or could look cool. Logic be damned.

And how would INJECTING something into your blood stream make you invisible?It doesn't make sense,anything that potent injected into the blood stream would KILL you.Also,wouldn't dust in the air land on his skin?Instead of seeing nothing we SHOULD be seeing an outline of a man because of all the dirt and dust in the air landing on his skin.The ONLY way to become invisible is by bending light around your body,and that would require a special suit.
